Buy last year’s model at half the cost.
My wife has 2 Apple tablets, while I have both a Samsung s2 and s7. After replacing Google chrome with Samsung internet, I am very happy with my android tablets compared with hers. Using the features is far easier to understand without having to get outside assistance via help desks, etc. I despise the unnecessary complexity of Apple software. Using it is analogous to counting sheep by counting their legs, adding in their heads, then dividing the total by 5.
I almost never by the newest gadget.
Not when I can get the same one next year for half the price. Or Less.
That way I don’t spend days or weeks fretting about spending $1000 on this or that. And then not being able to justify buying a new one for a few years For another thousand dollars... I just spend 250 or 300 and get last years... or even the one before.
It’s nearly always as good as good as the current one, And usually the bugs have been worked out.
And if I really absolutely want this year’s model I can get it next year.
When you buy these days you have to take into account what mafia you’re giving your money to and if they’re using your money to kill you.
If you overlook apple’s slave labor production, unethical overpricing, their hand in the global communist conspiracy, participation in censoring and their handcuffing you to their cloud or tunes app for file transfer, it is a better tool. Just remember, paying $0.99 a month for more than 5GB of icloud storage is still funding the beast.
Buy used from an American seller. Like Gollum said, “Don’t take it to him!”
What “American seller” do you recommend?
Your opinion of Apple might be unique on the entire Internet. :)
I have a IPad Pro and love it.
Someone on eBay with a good rating that is designated as shipping from a state in the U.S. or your local pawn shop.
I've been doing my shopping this way since the end of 2019 and all the computers, phones, sub woofers, speakers, solar panels, batteries, DVD's, security cameras, etc. are working fine.
If anything ever does come with a problem, which is very rare, I'm Mr. Fix It and am able to service any flaw. I know the U.N. is going to ban all my tools soon in the name of safety though. *sarcasm but not really sarcasm
I checked out the Tab s7’s specs and googled around finding this:
https://techstory.in/samsung-will-be-officially-manufacturing-qualcomms-snapdragon-8-gen-1-chipset/
“The chipmaker will continue to work with Samsung foundry for its high-end chipset. Qualcomm formerly had certain of its chipsets, such as the Snapdragon 888 (2020), Snapdragon 865 (2019), and Snapdragon 855 (2018), manufactured by Taiwan’s TSMC.”
The Tab s7+ uses the Snapdragon 865+,apparently manufactured in Taiwan, the same foundry that produces the M1 chip for the Ipad Pro. There’s no denying the M1 is better.
I am posting this comment on my Samsung Tablet. I am very satisfied with it. It is tethered to my Samsung phone and can send/receive calls.
Not unique at all.
