Covid microchip developer says there's no stopping roll-out: 'Whether we like it or not!'

A Swedish start-up tech company has invented a scannable microchip that is implanted in people’s arms and can display your COVID-19 vaccination status. This digital implant is designed to be embedded into people's arms so your vaccine passport pops up when scanned.

Created by the tech start-up Dsruptive Subdermals, the controversial invention is made of a pre-programmed scannable implant two millimetres by 16 millimetres in size.

The invention received a lot of attention when first announced with some describing it as "invasive".

One Twitter user argued: "Look, I’m as pro-vaccine as anyone around…AND I’m pro-vaccine passport (on a voluntary basis only), but this just plays into the narrative of 'they want to track you' conspiracy theorists."

But speaking to Express.co.uk, Hannes Sjoblad, managing director of Dsruptive Subdermals, fired back at the critics…

I'm in a conservative section of Central Texas, and most people were masking up this past weekend, whether to grocery shop, go to Walmart, or eat in a restaurant. It was painful to observe.

I was listening to people about 30 years ago say they have the concentration camps already built in America. Hope that’s not true but it’s easy to see that they are pushing it to the point that they would have to lock up and if course they would kill people at that point. Hope people in the US rise up to stop them, but most Americans have been brainwashed by things like the pledge of allegiance where they really think this govt is looking out for them. It’s sad to watch so many dumb people in one country.
