I also was a big Ted Cruz fan until the 2016 primary. I was never a Trump fan until after he won the NH & SC primaries.
I still think Cruz should end up on the Supreme Court.

I realize that. If they had intentions of charging them as civilians, they would have done that by now.
How long would it take to build a ‘domestic terrorist’ case against a US Citizen? Would you wait and see, in order to catch the bigger fish?
We do not know if they were provocateurs or real threats. And frankly for the democrats it will not matter. It is all about the timing and using this event to their advantage going into summer.
All we can do is wait and see at the moment, step back from the tree in front us and view the forest.

SAN ANTONIO — Texas Senator Ted Cruz is calling those who stormed and vandalized the Capitol terrorists, and said he was in no way responsible for the escalation.
Well, “turn about is fair play”.
So, more than half the members of the Demonrat party could be found guilty of TERRORISM for supporting BLM activities under this section of the 14th amendment!

Tucker was calm and collected afterwards.
Cruz, on the other hand, was a mess.
He did something similar in Illinois during the Illinois primary. He made a stupid comment about the violence where Trump attempted to have a rally being Trump’s fault (just like Trump is blamed for Jan. 6). I knew then that Cruz was gonna lose Illinois.
What you say may sound far-fetched, I can certainly believe it! I hope it’s not true, but time will tell.
Cruz begged him to come on to explain his misuse of the term, then Cruz screwed up his apology. Pathetic. Tucker was fantastic.

Those words came to him much too easily. He comes out and apologizes and grovels around for tucker because he was called out. But behind the scenes he’s talking to his buddies tossing us all under the bus so the he can feather his nest. It’s an interesting study really... Compare what Cruz says by mistake to what Marjory Taylor Greene says by mistake. Compare what is Cruz apologizing for compared to what Trump is apologizing for.
As for the interview, Cruz answers were not responsive to the question. That’s why tucker had to repeat himself so many times. WHY did you describe trump supporters as TERRORISTS... That’s a major issue in that democrats and the media (but i repeat myself) are trying to portray trump supporters as terrorists. Why did you use that word? Cruz never really responded to that but instead voiced apologies for being caught! “OH Yeah i misspoke!”, yeah right! I’d have trusted him more if he’d just told the truth, “i said it because if I didnt then i would miss the effete democrat cocktail parties and dinner invitations.” I could have respected if he’d just said “It’s what i say to the media because I need the microphone time!”
We need to stop trusting these politicians and hold both sides to account. I’ll have big trouble trusting cruz again.
