Unless their finances are such that a $3 million dollar loss isn't that big of a deal. I'm guessing that most collectors will self-insure but there is insurance available for exotic collector cars to cover accidents like this.

Traction control applies the rear brakes to oppose your heavy foot.
Today TCS can do a lot more than that.

Interestingly it is a 2001, and I specifically bought it for the lack of these things.
I did not realize
The Enzo is festooned with safety devices like traction control and stability augmentation. Chances are 99.831% that the mechanic turned off these “hero switches” and shortly after discovered why a 650-hp Ferrari needs traction control and stability augmentation.
