If one is going to “follow the science” one needs to know the uncertainty / ‘error bars’ in the data being evaluated. Data from statist regimes tends to be less than reliable.

Weird definition of populist and I don’t think the governments classified as “populist” generally meet the definition. My guess is they wanted to group countries they could put the worst statistics on and label them “populist” so they could push their own elitist political agenda.

Our statistics are skewed. They includes people who died with Covid (from other causes), not of Covid. Other countries include only those who died of Covid. And their statistics look like rose petals. I have an impression that, besides the new religion called Science, nobody knows diddly shit about this virus, especially those, who throw the word “science” around more than anyone else.
