Maybe gets popped with a $500 fine? Even Geico can't match that kind of savings.

He went all those years without being pulled over?

Obviously licensing is unnecessary for this chap as the license is supposed to be some form of credential for competent driving.
The snot nosed whippersnappers demanding he now be licensed, after 70+ years of incident free driving, would be demanding my immigrant Italian grandmother be “licensed” to cook Sunday spaghetti dinner.

“hitting them whilst uninsured”.
Oh the horror!!!
The insurance companies will probably sue him for lost revenue.

That’s what I was thinking.

Not real familiar, but I know in UK the plates stay with the car rather than the driver.

I drove for 20 years on a suspended license. It can be done. Glad I’m legal now, but those fines can be onerous for poor ppl, especially for misdemeanor violations such as no registration.
To: Libloather
Good for him. The prison that our country has become demands too much of us.
Just think, the man saved at least $1500 a year on insurance and $200 to $500 on licens tags every year for 60 years. Brilliant!

Not surprising if you obey traffic laws.
To: Libloather
No one read the rest of the article.
He was found out because a traffic camera detected the car was improperly registered. Big Brother indeed.
