Gert Frobe was actually dubbed in the film version of
Goldfinger. He told the filmmakers he spoke English, but his German accent was so heavy they had to dub him. To keep the sound "normal", the other actors with him, including Connery dubbed their own lines as well in scenes with Frobe.
They also dubbed people including "Bond Girls" in several films, including Ursula Andress and Eunice Gayson in Dr. No, Daniela Bianchi in From Russia With Love and Claudine Auger and Adolfo Celi in Thunderball.
