There were internet rumors of an outbreak of smallpox in Yemen. I did a search and didn't find any credible sources. I did find this. A drug to treat smallpox was approved last year.

It was reported that some the Covid vaccines were developed before the disease existed, too. Somebody must know something. Should be fun to see if Ivermectin will work on smallpox.

My wife and I watched the smallpox scene in “1883” and she remarked that their treatment of the infected guy was “pretty extreme.” I face palmed.
