They leave the hunting zones and regs in an outside news paper rack...anybody can read them. And elk see pretty good at night.
That hasn’t been my experience. I climbed up on a big log after sunset one season and had a herd milling about me, though I took no precautions to avoid being seen. I moved around quite a bit. Full camo, of course.
