I’m not buying it. If true, then Trump should have crossed swords with China Mitch publicly. Trump made disastrous appointments for four years. He listened to the advice from the same Swamp Creatures who were his enemies - and/or he was listening to Jared and Ivanka. A crucial part of leadership is making the right appointments and gathering those people to fight with you against the entrenched elites. What did Trump think the Swamp was going to do after he won the election - just say, “You won. We lost. We’ll step down and get out of your way.”?
