It would be a brilliant strategy, but I do not think the clowns in DC are capable of serious negotiation.

They can’t paint Putin as the devil then make peace with him; to make the Red China devil acceptable they spent decades sweeping their crimes against their own people (including forced abortions) under the carpet.
Now Red Chinese propaganda movies are streaming to US customers routinely, and NBA stars and John Cena are muzzled by their ChiCom masters (with the aid of the American puppets who sign their paychecks).
