Going to all DST is gay.
We actually VOTED to do this and the assembly for some idiotic reason voted it down.
What will the excuse be when kids are dropped off the school bus after dark and they’re molested on their short walk home?

Keep the time on DST. Changing clocks twice a year is idiotic and disruptive.
If we want too get rid of all of this, we should move it to 30 minutes or halfway and leave it there. So it’s not too dark at that time, early in the morning or late in the evening
Here’s a novel idea.
Make sun time year around.
I’m a month younger than sand, and it was a stupid idea from day one. The Farmers needed it, so they said, and then the pols got ahold of it, and ran with it.
Make it year ‘round.
Just Do It.
I think the change has been slowed by congressmen who think their constituents are going to Freak Out and immediately try to recall that congressman from office.
Any protest is likely to be very small.
The original reasons are now diminished.
It would be nice to have one time and not change it twice a year.
Arizona doesn’t do daylight savings time. It never made sense to me.
This topic was on talk radio about half a year ago. PART of the reasoning was that most crimes occur after dark. When it turns dark at 4:00 or 4:30 one could see that the crime rate increased. Turning light later in the morning made less of a difference. Not many crimes are committed at 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning.

Northern states not fans of “year round DST”....sunrise at 9am in Winter is a bummer for school kids and the AM commute:

Good news, I hope changing the clocks thing ends, the sooner the better.

DST is so good that we need it year round.
Next, we will need double daylight time in the summer.
Then DDST year round, because it is so good.
Etc, till we are about 12 hours shifted.
This will be Utopia.
Kind of like printing money non-stop to cure the world’s ills.
Treat it like covid jabs and MANDATE 4 times a year changing the time!
I prefer daylight savings time to standard, but I don’t care which way they do it. Just stick with one way all year. Make a decision and go with it!
