It went right in one ear and out the other. These rabid liberals are Incapable of feeling shame or embarrassment.
You are correct, I think, in so many cases.
Very true.
And for the folks that don’t really know anything about NY State, maybe thinking it’s one big version of NYC, it is NOT. Far from it. Very far from it. Very very far from it.
New York has the reputation it does for the same reason: Cali, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, New Mexico, Colorado, NJ, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia and a few other states, have their reputations. The big urban areas have enough folks to drown out the votes of the folks that don’t live there and tend to lean Right or Very Right.
I’m willing to be that after analysis, if any of these states had an election process like the Electoral College, where each county could send or tabulate an ‘elector’ based on the popular vote, so the cities couldn’t ‘rule the roost’ over the rest of the state, I doubt many(if any) of those states would have Democrat Governors. And if the statewide government positions like; Lt Governor, Sec of State and AG were done the same way, states like Louisiana and Kentucky would not have Democrat Governors.
And this is not Ranked Choice. Simple: each county gets 3 votes....overwhelming majority(66%) for one candidate, they get all three votes....50.1 to 65.9% for one, they get 2 votes and the other gets 1 vote(allows the other group a chance-they can’t say they were completely cheated out of a vote if the final tally was 51-49)
Republican’s would hold those offices in all but very few states, mainly up in New England. And maybe not even that. No reason that Prince George County, Baltimore and Annapolis should be able to run roughshod over the entire state. They want to run each place like they do, let them. But those policies shouldn’t be statewide.
