I do not believe that Zelensky was unaware of the corruption that existed BEFORE he entered office, but that he was dismayed that President Trump featured it so prominently. Sure, there had been ENORMOUS corruption leading up to Zelensky’s election, but he was not still contributing to it.
The Ukraine has had its own “Deep State” problems for some time, and the umbilical cord tying that emergent nation to Mother Russia have not be entirely severed.

Newsflash to the consumers of propaganda: That there is corruption in Ukraine is not news. Zelensky ran on the agenda of fighting corruption . Trump acknowledged it and applauded Zelensky for it. It’s left out of the propaganda garbage you posted.

It's "Ukraine" not "The Ukraine." Putin would love everyone to say "The Ukraine" as a way of delegitimizing Ukraine as a country. It's a country not a region.
Zelensky isn't praising Biden. He is being gracious toward the president of the United States who just sent him hundreds of billions dollars worth of weapons. What do you expect him to say ? Criticize him ?
