He wants help in fighting his war. Simple. Of course he’s going to be complementary. I don’t like the guy but I don’t think what he said was out of admiration.

I don’t want a war with us in it. I will say it makes me sick for the US to push a war in a different country for our gain. Zelensky has signed on to that and allowed his people to die while complimenting a man who has done nothing to stop the dying in Ukraine. Sending money and weapons doesn’t stop the dying. Sitting down at the negotiating table could do just that.
That fact doesn’t seem to compute to so many people.
