Now they pretend it’s ‘normal’...................
Oh, we listened all right.
And we were branded as reactionaries and conspiracy theorists.
As a conservative, our interactions with Leftists along these lines have always generated responses from them like: "Oh, you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. We have no intention of...[INSERT CAMEL NOSE UNDER TENT SUBJECT HERE]"
Of course.
Things like:
- "Oh, we homosexuals just want the legal right to designate a life partner and engage in contracts the way heterosexuals couples can, not to impinge on or degrade the religious meaning of marriage, or advocate for adoption privileges..."
- "Oh, we aren't pedophiles, we just believe 16 year olds are capable of engaging in sexual activity with adults. We would never advocate adults having sexual relationships with 12 year old children..."
- "Oh, we just think that 16 year olds are old enough and intelligent enough to vote...we would never advocate for 12 year olds to vote..."
- "Oh, we just believe that America should allow refugees trying to escape from the tyranny of other countries to enter, we would never advocate allowing everyone to enter the US and become citizens..."
- "Oh, we would never push to have women in combat roles in the military, we just want to see a greater representation of women in the military ranks..."
Ad nauseam.
