Nonsense.

Trump’s military strike against Solemani— another brilliant ostensibly NEOCON move— was done at the Baghdad airport.

It was the ideal reproach to the anti-neocon ‘genius’ of President Barack Obama who spawned ISIS for precisely the reason neocon reactionaries embrace.

American Isolationism always and forever.

Obama’s contempt for Iraq mirrored in this FR thread spawned ISIS—precisely as predicted by Bush. A similar spawning is taking place now in Afghanistan.

In reality, this military action and the consequent strike against Iranian hegemony was correct and moral.

It will not be long before FReepers are limping along intellectually mocking Trump in order to appease another iteration of Republican reactionaries.

Stand and fight for the United States. Your sons and daughters fought well in Vietnam and Iraq against evil politics. It is crazy how consistently Americans retreat on the intellectual battle field to say— ‘we were wrong.’

I will not.

You posted that unverified swill from 2012. The war and the WMDs were a lie. Do better.

You posted that unverified swill from 2012.

Prove it was a lie or shut up!

You have conveniently forgotten that the Syrian Assad regime used chemical weapons on its own citizenry back in 2012 and the August 2013 sarin gas attack that killed more than 1,400 civilians in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta.

Where did Assad get those chemical weapons?

Or was that story just propaganda also?

Psst....learn to use your Gooogle Machine. The war is over, it was all a lie

CIA’s final report: No WMD found in Iraq In his final report, the CIA’s top weapons inspector in Iraq said Monday that the hunt for weapons of mass destruction has gone “as far as feasible” and has found nothing

Iraq was not “folly”. I was there for 3 1/2 years. Almost everything you’ve been fed about the war and its results is fraudulent deception. It was done as crass political manipulation to elect a D Congress in 2006 and D President in 2008. Many FReepers bought it hook, line and sinker and hold fast to it even today.

A few things to consider.

-The war was authorized due to Saddam refusing to comply with UN inspection requirements and resolutions, not “WMDs”. That reason is a media creation. Saddam and the media seemed to work together to hide Iraq’s WMDs. See: Hallabja, 1988.
-Saddam and ISIS are gone. Iraq no longer poses a threat to anyone.
-The WMDs and 500 tons of uranium were removed. WMD facilities were destroyed.
-Military national expansion (Ba’athism) was repudiated by an international force.
-Iraq was transitioned to a constitutional, representative republic.
-The US retains three bases in Iraq at the request and approval of the Iraqi government for regional stability.

etc, etc. But sycophants live in another world so I’ll stop wasting my time.

You only have to look back two years to the Freepers supporting masks, lockdowns, and forced vaccination to see that.

The comparison is that after the Tet Offensive in 1968, everything became political. Before that, everyone was gung ho. Decisions were made based on political considerations, and that is what worried me. One example was that the tank commanders were not allowed to return fire on the VC because they were hiding in rubber tree groves, and the US Gov had made a deal to pay France $ 1mm in damages if we destroyed their trees. No one knew much about that at the time, but this war is comparable in the sense that you have a poor commander in charge who is very political, and the media is issuing narratives, and not the truth. In fact, I challenge anyone to find out what the truth really is. So, in that regards, you are at the beginning of the same type of decisions being made. It will only get worse. Biden today was visiting US troops and made a statement that they would be in Ukraine ( https://nypost.com/2022/03/25/joe-biden-says-us-troops-will-be-in-ukraine-in-apparent-gaffe/). Now was this a gaffe by a senile old fool, or is there a hidden agenda that we don’t know about? That is the similarity. I have heard all of this before. I suggest that you don’t trust anything that you hear or read in the media.

Don't take my word, take it from The BUSH himself

No WMDs in Iraq

But Mr Bush admits that he was shocked when no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq.

"No one was more shocked and angry than I was when we didn't find the weapons," he writes.

"I had a sickening feeling every time I thought about it. I still do."

I find it ironic that you, who is calling the MSM propagandists and anything coming from the government is nothing but lies, are actually citing a CIA report in an attempt to win a stupid argument.

Do you realize how much of a hypocrite you are now? Probably not..........LOL!

This site is getting filled with stupid and you're at the top of the pile.........

Just curious, is your CIA the same CIA that denied spying on Trump and were ultimately busted along with James Clapper?
