They may want to eat the pythons too. After all, they taste like chicken also. 🙂

What’s the problem with bunnies?

Wild rabbit has more protein than venison pound for pound. They are delicious.

Well, don’t let your dog run after any of them, or FReepers will say you should be killed.

I was thinking more along the lines of the food shortages they have been reporting on, as coming soon, and I believe that will indeed be the case. It’s going to get rough people, for sure.

Ever hear of rabbit poisoning? It comes from eating meat that is too lean in fat and too high in protein.

Bring in some bobcats. They’ll take care of the tiny designer dogs as well.

I get you. Yes, there are going to be shortages. It’s already happening. They’re telling us beef is going to get very, very expensive; we’ve already noticed that there aren’t any beef-containing pet foods readily available. Mr K (not the one on this forum) goes to the store a lot, several times a week, and he has not been able to find any beef-containing cat food which is the cat’s favorite. I was noticing that stuff like TV dinners has really poor-quality beef, full of gristle and even bits of bone, lately. (No, they DID used to be better than that!)

Someone on this board was recommending that we “go in” on buying a whole steer with friends/neighbors. Not a bad idea.

Communism is all about mass-engineered shortages, leading to mass starvation.

Way back when the 7th Day Adventist neighbor in big city used to pay me to keep the rabbits out of his garden. I used my bow and had lots of rabbit to eat.

“Bring in more bobcats.”

I was thinking to import jackals. What could go wrong?

Wild rabbit has more protein than venison pound for pound. They are delicious.

You just got to make sure you don't try to make them a big part of your diet.

“designer dogs” I prefer Father Jack Hackett’s description of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJ9pOIaeufQ

Foxes will have some for dinner. We have several around and no bunnies.

Love a good Monty Python reference. My thoughts of Nov. 3, 2020 and Joe Biden is the Lepus.

Funny coincidence true story…… while visiting Scotland, I was at Doune Castle where a good bit of Monty Python and the Holy Grail was filmed. Walking up the pathway that led to the entrance there was a huge pile of what looked like rabbit poo, little pea-size dark , very easy to identify. I have a photo of it in my trip album.

Cottontails have become numerous in my area south of Tampa.

This is probably because dogs and cats are now kept indoors to protect them against coyotes.
