Where are the nutria, alligators and anacondas when you need them?
I live in Georgia, just north of Atlanta. I have rabbits, deer, opossums, raccoons, foxes, squirrels, water moccasins, and copperheads in the backyard like some sort of parade.
I call BS too. Besides, I sauté my vegetables in bacon grease when making my rabbit sauce piquante. I think I’m good.
Nutria are herbivores, just like the rabbits.
Wow! There breading like......rabbits.
In my hood we have a fair number of Bob Cats that help hKeep the rabbit population in check.
The only problem I have with my little Fiest chasing rabbits is she runs them deep into the briers and loses her harness. Lost two of them that way.
With no natural predators to keep them in check they will overrun any area they are in.
Australia was a prime example as was the dust Bowl area in the 1930s.
One county even offered a bounty on rabbit scalps brought in during the 1930s.
add armadillos to your list

Sounds like my grandparents place in Ellijay 50 years ago…
Lawn mowers? Like sheep but much smaller. Rabbit pellets are like little ball bearings.
Bunnies , huh? Are they wearing body stockings, bunny ears and black tights and heels?
For 20 years I hunted rabbit with beagles, almost everyday during the season. Until my hunting partner, and dogs, got too old. Anyway...I’ve eaten rabbit about every way you can prepare them. Usually had rabbit 2-3 times a week while they lasted. We’d harvest 300-400 rabbits a season. Never noticed any ill affects. Lead poisoning could be a problem. Chomped down on many a pellet.
I loves me some Rabbit! Fried, Hash, Stew, Braised, Par-boiled, in Salad, on Sandwiches, Chicken salad Rabbit, Rabbit on pasta, rabbit ravioli, Rabbit En papillote, rabbit tacos, rabbit burritos, Country fried rabbit over rice, rabbit in mustard sauce, Hasenpfeffer,Lapin A La Bourguignonne,Rabbit and pistachio terrine, rabbit

Talk about inbreeding. You got your sister pregnant.
I’ll send them a few of the red tailed hawks we have around here. They’ll fix that fast.
Unless they are “werenutria”.
Now that’s what I’m talking about!
