gentlemen of free republic.. I will tell you a secret. Despite what some of you may think, women of America are sick of wimpy men who don’t have the courage to defend their honor in public. Although too afraid to go against popular opinion, most women think more of Will Smith now than they did before he did this.

Slay the dragon and you will have her heart....even if that dragon is just a gen X comedian who tells lame jokes. flame away, then ask your wives, if you happen to have one.

I never called for him to be charged with assault. Perhaps you are thinking of tennmountainman's posting? I simply stated he would not be charged unless Chris filed charges. He did not. LAPD was firm about this.

Don't want to get into an argument, but watch the slap again in high def. My wife and I noticed that Chris Rock was favoring his left cheek when he tried to smile. His face was even before the slap, but afterward his smile was lopsided, kind of like a sneer but not under his control.

Amen, and agreed, brother!! FFS, I’m sick of wimpy men. Almost every morning whilst trying to enjoy my coffee, and a cigarette (regardless of channel), I’m “forced” to suffer through an HIV PSA from “Alphonso” whom appears to have a twisted piece of feces on his skull cap. The cultural rot that has occurred in this nation over the last couple of decades will cost us dearly in the future (I know I’m preaching to the choir). Will Smith will be just fine, and his contracts will return when the corporations in question realize which “cash cow” they sent “out to pasture”, and the whining, crying, faceless morons on social media find their next shiny object/Squirrel to focus on. Do I think what he did was right?.....not in that situation. However, I do believe his loss of contracts from Netflix, Sony, Etc. is (as usual) nothing more than virtue signaling, and projection from the usual subjects.

How is all the violence working out for the very high murder rate young black men and women in the big Dem run cities? So you think next time you go watch a stand up comedian, you can just get up and go slap the comedian because you don't like his jokes?
