Let us hope and pray the FDA puts it on the fast track like they did with the vaxxes

Only if Biden and democrats can figure out a way to declare hearing loss as a pandemic with which they can control the population with thousands of lockdowns.

A digger wasp? Is that like a ground hornet? They make a high pitched sound.

Or perhaps a dirt dobber wasp? They build mud huts here in TX. They are docile unless you mess with them. Great pollinators.

Get some of this stuff and rub it on your scalp. Let us know if it works!

We lived in the DC area, decades ago when the cicadas had one of their appearances.

Some people did not hear the wasps. I heard both..

Yep. Turning it up to 11 wasn’t such a good idea after all even though it was fun at the time.

Dirt dobbers are basically harmless, and I don’t remember hearing them while living in the SW.

My family jokes about my hearing wasps recently, and no one else seeing nor hearing them.

There is apparently some relative to the dirt dobbers in California. They like to make nests under eaves and roof overhangs. They are fairly docile until you accidentally or on purpose jostle their nest. Then, they will attack you. I don’t remember any noises coming from them.

Not to rain on this parade but the best thing for family peace was when my father went about 70% deaf.

Have you tried Flavanoid? No prescription but a lot of pills each day.

My ENT doc sent me to Johns Hopkins, I had a skull tumor, but the tinnitus is still present. It’s not a hearing problem, but a neurological/brain issue.

What I heard seemed to be a combo of a high pitched buzzing noise and tinnitus.

Humans are born with about 15,000 hair cells in each cochlea.
Such cells die over time and never regenerate.

I believe we are the only living mammal that has that problem. Oy ...

This is really bad news for my bank account, but very good news for McIntosh Labs. :-)

Assuming the FDA ever lets this go to market, how many of us will still be alive to try it?

Yep. My hearing is fine. It’s just these cicadas screaming 24/7 are the problem.
