An increase from 56 pounds to 58.6 pounds is about 74 ounces. That works out to about 1.4 ounces more per week.

They were trying this over fifty years ago promoting the fear that BEEF causes CANCER!
Interesting side line, After the scientists cooked the steaks, did their tests and found the steaks had enough cancer causing chemicals in them, THEY ATE THE STEAKS! Why waste a good meal!

Hard for me to say what the crazy coastals might be eating, or not, but here in the beautiful flyover Midwest, BBQ places keep growing in popularity, not to mention awesome steakhouses and great gourmet burger joints.

The BOGO at my local is walk-in for $1.

Plus the receipt allows for BOGO for free quarter pounder with cheese or Big Mac

I never give personal info.

Week and half ago stopped at one. Did receipt in car on phone. Website, not app

2 quarter pounders with cheese, fries, large Coke - just under $7. Think they accidentally gave me an extra large fry.

I make sure they and the other McDonald’s get 90-95 percent of my McDonald’s business.

I give them high rankings on the surveys.

Wait till you get one that has been grazing on Wild Onions!
Years ago Dad showed us how to overcome the onion flavor. Bite and chew a raw onion before eating the meat.

That is probably why beef is finished out on grain. To get rid of bad flavors.

On a land use acre per animal and usable meat per lb of total weight on hoof goats are twice as efficient as cattle in converting cellulose to animal mass. They are also more water efficient than cattle and more heat heat tolerant. Goats can and do live in the Sahara where cattle struggle to live. Like I said there is a reason goat is the number one consumed ungulate protein in the world by far.

You couldn’t leave Herfords alone on 100 acres in Pecos County to fend for themselves no range blocks no hay supplements no salt cubes. I have at least 20 Nubian goats with that number growing even with losses to coyotes and me shooting some every year hardly little buggers. Like feral hogs they just go about life no humans needed.

That is a valid question and you should try to do so.

I cook from scratch as much as possible, raise a garden and so on in a effort to make sure what my family eats is the best quality it can be.

The guy who said the food is medicine that we eat was not wrong.

Neither was the guy that says that all foods have toxins in them and that is why we have a liver and kidneys.

It's all a balance thing.
