Those are just postmortem clots, formed from the non-flowing of blood after death. They occur in all parts of the body in all vessels, but the degree of formation depends on oh so many factors, especially the cause of death (hypoxic and acidotic and anemic causes of death, such as overdoses, drownings, and bleeding to death from trauma, don’t have much postmortem clotting), and the time after death before the vessels are checked for blood clots (almost every body has those about 2 days after death). They’re rubbery, not fibrous, and don’t stick to the vessel internal walls. You can tell from that arterial clot the embalmer pulled out in that video that it ran a long distance up the vessel (or down it, depending on how he pulled). If that had occurred during life, it would have totally blocked that vessel, and any structure being served by that artery would have died from the blockage, and the iliac vein also had similar postmortem clot—that thigh and leg shown in the video would have been hideously bloated, blue-black, and gangrenous, if both those vessels had been blocked in life. They were totally normal looking, though. Those clots formed well after death, and nothing to do with Covid or vaccination.

If an embalmer is seeing more of those than he’s used to, then something else has changed—more people dying at home, rather than in the hospital, so more time passes before they go to the funeral home, and the body won’t have been in a cooler (slowing down clot formation and other postmortem changes) before going to the embalmer, so more likely for both reasons for more postmortem clotting to be seen. OR, the embalmer is just hypersensitive to the changes now and is overcalling what used to be just a few extra minutes work to open up a vessel for the embalming fluid to go in. That’s why embalmers also use trocars (big needles attached to the embalming fluid) to inject directly into the tissues that can’t be served well by clogged arteries, including the thighs and calves, and also the chest and abdominal organs. Plus lots of makeup, to cover up the duskier skin tones of those who can’t get embalmed well with the slightly pinkish fluid!

Nothing to see here, move along.

hypersensitive to the changes now...

Interesting, and, I guess purely coincidental, that exact phrase has been used, on this thread, a few times.

Are you an embalmer or a Medical Examiner?
