Honestly, so what. Keane retired in 2003. Since then he has worked for several companies that have government and military contracts. He is not going spend half a interview trying to avoid accusations of conflicts of interest to appease those who want any excuse to disregard him. This guilt by any association is getting old.

I went to a military college. I know a few Generals and a ton of full colonels. They retire young. They get new jobs In the field they know best.

What would you have them do?

They are exceptionally qualified in managing large operations with large budgets. Most have multiple advanced degrees.

Some folks around here think they should be Walmart greeters.
