Continual NATO provocations against Russian security.
Concerted globalist-instigated sanctions.
But Putin is the bad guy for an incursive police action. Without Western arms and *instructors*, it would have ended in a negotiated peace reaffirming existing treaties.
Why? There is not one thought by the Western coalition for the people of Ukraine. They are both defending the slush pile/trafficking lines and trying to extend NATO/globalist control into Russian areas.
