Ging to a private school where you know what you are getting is easier than killing public school teachers until your child gets a good one. I am just guessing here.

My town in NJ had 6 Catholic schools (including a high school) when I was a child; they are all closed now. The population is still “Catholic” (Latin American).
Nobody can pay two tuitions here; the public school taxes are simply too high.
Now nobody under 50 goes to Mass; the parishes will be closing as well.
My son’s conservative Christian school was losing enrollment 4 or 5 years ago. Now, there is a waiting list to get in.
