Sure America did. Act aggressively against Russia, overthrow a friendly government, arm a hostile government, threaten nuclear missiles near Russian borders- America absolutely did compel Russian action. It has nothing to do with mind control, grow up.
America is a fascist state - remember the stolen election, political prisoners in DC jails, lockdowns, vanishing freedom of speech, large corporations working with government to squelch freedoms? Why defend America or the West? Is Russia wrong ? Sure. So is America. So is Ukraine, also a fascist state. Commies, Nazis, fascists - no good guys here.
