I’ve never flown either. The thing that would probably kill me in a situation like this are the instruments, rudders, flaps, etc.
Having to successfully accomplish 3 or 4 things all at once would freak me out.
And even if I did everything perfectly, I would probably run into a tree on the ground.
A high wing single engine plane like this one CAN be flown using only the wheel and the throttle. No rudder required. You’ll fly pretty sloppily, but you’ll do fine.
Caravan is very stable and well behaved in the air.
