Yup. Russia has every right in the world to set their domestic policy and seize assets that have been abandoned by foreign investors.
Now don’t expect the foreign investors to return. It’ll be forty to sixty years before insurance companies will be willing to issue policies and guarantees on those investments in Russia.

Russia has made it clear they intend to redirect their focus to the East where they have good relationships and promising opportunities.
We’ll see how it all works out.
So they’ll be the proud owners of a bunch of BMW dealerships that have a BMW sign on the building but no BMW’s for sale. Repeat times 1000 other foreign companies. What a plan.
