Duh. Like vitamin D hasn't been know for decades to help the human body. It goes all the way back to the tall ship days and scurvy. Sheesh. It blows my mind that so much research funds new studies that only state the long known obvious.

Just read a new study says eggs are good for you. I was told long ago they would kill me. Still here at 72.

Scurvy is from lack of Vitamin C, rickets are from lack of Vitamin D. Berberi is from lack of B1, and pellagra is from lack of B3.

Your skin will produce vitamin d from the ultra violet sprectrum of sunlight. As well, your skin will produce melatonin and nitric oxide from the infra red spectrum of sunlight.

The big problem around the world is that people are not getting outside enough. Our bodies are not designed to live without sunlight any more than plants are designed to live without sunlight.
