Left-wing critics are demanding that HBO “cancel” Bill Maher after accusing the HBO “Real Time” host of delivering an anti-transgender monologue on last Friday’s show.
David Kilmnick, who heads the nonprofit LGBT Network, wrote an article in Advocate magazine on Wednesday titled: “Bill Maher Has Gone Too Far With Anti-LGBTQ+ Comments.”
Maher was blasted for saying that “we’re literally experimenting on children” by providing them with puberty blockers and other treatments aimed at facilitating gender transitions.
He also said that transitioning was becoming “trendy.” Maher hit out at Chase Strangio, a lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union, who cheered efforts to ban a book by author Abigail Shrier.
Shrier, a Wall Street Journal writer, is author of “Irreversible Damage,” which explores the rapidly growing trend of teenage girls who undergo therapies and surgeries to transition to boys.

Think of the Salem witch trials. People were burned at the stake because of mobs like this.
Even if they do get him canceled he’ll still be a leftist, despite his few episodes of common sense.
I studied Salem some years ago. A fine metaphor as the Left has almost a religious/superstitious certainty in its bizarre beliefs.
Leftist intramurals. It would be so Current Year for there to be a popcorn shortage about now.
They do and it's quite scary. I'm, also reminded of another horrid period in history. The reign of terror in France after their revolution. The mobs we have whipped up these days are capable of the same kind of evil.

He’s denigrating at least half of the America population.
Hasn’t he seen all the TV shows and all the movies lately, where it seems that about half of the actors/actresses are lesbians and gays, all engaged in kissing and other forms of sexual ‘displays’. If you take all that ‘action’ from TV shows and movies, and extrapolate that proportionately into total population, you’d come away believing that, every other person you see and know, is part of the LGTBQ+ population.
