As soon as gas returns to normal price levels all the demand for EVs will peter out to nothing.

After the initial excitement, IMHO people who use the F 150 for commercial purposes or long recreational/ camping trips will not want the EV version. Not only will recharging be a huge handicap but it is highly doubtful that these vehicles will hold up beyond 60-80,000 miles. Owners of these trucks expect to get 150,000-200,000 miles on these vehicles. EVs will be a niche market unless people are absolutely coerced. May be wrong but doubt it. Unless the Democrats stay in power, Ford will go down hard.
