This chart is sobering. How many people can the earth support? We are close to 9 billion. Can we sustain 20 billion? 30 billion? 50 billion? 100 billion?

Unfortunately, the countries that are at below-replacement fertility rates are all modern developed nations.

The planet can support very few non-productive people.
