Still protecting the leaker, is Roberts.
A rather simplistic and overly racialist view of the Taney decision ( which went 7-2) but interesting.
Roberts, or his staff, may very well have been the leaker.
Robert’s has a lot of skeletons in his chamber er I mean closet.
The prime suspect.
They all have the common theme of admitting that life in the DC bubble HEAVILLY influences their prospective over time.
O'Connor even admits that the gay clerks (such nice, hardworking boys) altered her views and those of her successor Justice Kennedy over the issue of gay marriage.
The legitimate issues that they raised (such as partner visits to hospitals) could have been addressed in a far less radical way (such as civil unions) than the solution which the supremes, colored by their long life in the DC bubble, ultimately imposed.
I believe that this was part of the reason that supreme court justices were once expected to serve three months every year as circuit judges elsewhere in the country just to keep them out of the DC bubble.
prospective = PERspective. Sorry.
First, there is no evidence whatsoever that Roberts “sought to alter” the draft report.
If you read the draft, and the final, the only thing that happened was that a) Alito directly responded to the dissents in detail, and b) Roberts’s concurrence, which I examine at length in Today’s News at www.uncoverdc.com, was extensive. These both take an exceptional amount of time to write. Alito had to look at every case the dissenters cited, and then find his own case law.
So I think Roberts was far too busy on his concurrence to bother trying to change minds, which he knew wasn’t going to happen anyway. If ACB and Kavanaugh, who HAD THEIR LIVES THREATENED and had stalkers outside their homes, weren’t moved by that, they sure weren’t gonna be moved by little Johnny’s petitions.
Do you have a current guess as to who the leaker was or who the leaker worked for?
Everyone knew Roberts was a fake conservative and everyone knows this decision hurt the power of the national media to control minds with one message. Whenever the decisions are moved from national to local, it’s bad for Dems/media.
“Dobbs Decision Leaves Roberts and the Media as Biggest Losers”
A ridiculous headline. Neither Roberts nor Media are in the contest. The contest is between citizen voters.
Furthermore, the media is making lots of money as the pubic is gobbling up the reporting on this controversial subject.
Yes. I’m almost sure it was Sotomayor’s clerk, but certainly she knew about it, which is why no one wants to do anything.
Actually, though, the leak probably did us a big favor, because it helped spread out the “rage” over a period of weeks. I think if the decision had just “come down,” the protests would have been worse. As it is, this is old news.
Don’t forget today or tomorrow we will likely get a USSC decision on global warming that won’t be pretty for the gubment. It’s the greenweenies’ turn to go nuts. Oh, and don’t forget the prayer/praying coach case. That could be fun too.
“Robert’s has a lot of skeletons in his chamber er I mean closet.”
I thought he kept them in a safe deposit box at the Bank of Malta.
Here’s some good news:
Since 2004, the U.S. has lost more than 2,000 newspapers, according to the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, leaving many cities and towns without reliable, local news coverage known as “news deserts.”

Possibly, but it also gave the rioters time to organize.
Robert’s is a fart in the wind and I also think he’s the leaker
Sandra Day O’Connor was a mediocre Justice chosen only because Ronnie promised a woman Justice and hired a political hack.
