Kari Lake did great. She anticipated that they’d bring up the drag queen issue. She struck first with discussing how the election was stolen, making Biden illegitimate, and exacerbating the border crisis. When the drag queen issue finally came out, she was in a position to say Fox was engaging in sleazy journalism, avoided the important issues, and tossed her opponent softball questions. All without breaking a sweat or raising her voice.

I agree but she didn’t address the picture of her with the drag queen. But I don’t care. I’ve been to a couple of drag queen shows (Finocchios in San Francisco). Politicians, like me, put their toe onto the wild side, enjoy something without the morality filters turned on.
It would have been most impressive if she admitted that she did whatever the picture shows.
She did a good job. Bret is lower than pond scum. At least pond scum performs a useful purpose.
