A post is going viral online as it seeks to explain why girlfriends are angry with their boyfriends after the controversial overturning of Roe v. Wade.
The Supreme Court's (SCOTUS) decision on Friday to strike down the 49-year-old ruling that legalized abortion nationwide has sparked waves of protest across the country, as trigger laws in certain states made abortions illegal.
Amid the fallout, a post on Reddit is going viral for seeking to explain why girlfriends are mad at their boyfriends following the ruling.
A post, entitled "My GF is mad at me about Roe v Wade," has amassed more than 26,000 upvotes since being shared on Tuesday, and can be read here.
Redditor u/_frozengrapes, believed to be a woman, wrote: "I've seen many posts from men, predictably confuddled as to why their girlfriends were angry at them 'for no reason' about Roe v Wade.
"Of course, these girlfriends in question were immediately labeled as 'red flags' or 'crazy feminists' by dudebros in the comments.
"Men, your girlfriends are not angry at you because of Roe v Wade. They are most likely upset because you were unable to display empathy, and were apathetic to (or worse, in support of) her rights being stripped away.
"So stop reducing it to 'my GF is angry at me for factors outside of my control' for pity points on the internet, and intentionally making your girlfriend the 'crazy hysterical woman.' Their anger at you is born out of your reaction to the SCOTUS ruling, not the ruling itself."

“It is really, in my view, her expressing concern of being able to keep a man.”
Or the realization that the she’s only a cheap piece of ass to her BF.
Wait for pity parties to start every week.
Agree. Both sides are messed up. One aspect, the abortion option, in any of it’s implications is not always in play. The ruling did not abolish abortion. But it will be more difficult to get one in certain jurisdictions. So couples have a less easy solution to their inadvertant creation of a nascent human being. May actually force couples to clarify their relationship to something more than drunken, or drugged out grunts, and moans, and sighs.
Fear of death. That’s what I thought. Thank-you for your response.
A good idea is to check regularly if your wife is the woman you married. 42 years here and unscathed.. so far.

Just completed 31 years ... still good.
That’s a whole lot of gender-assuming

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil
There’s zero chance 1 in 3 women get beat.
Did they poll Amber Heard, Cassidy Hutchinson, and Anita Hill?
I could believe it as easily 1/3 of the population seems to be without morals these days. It's also lying with statistics. The question is violence, not battery, and getting into an argument with someone could be construed by the weak-minded as violence.
It has to include arguing or name calling.
I don’t consider “you’re being a bitch” on par with a full on right hook…
Agreed.
