Oh He has a battery powered chainsaw? Oh that is your problem right there!!
Dude you should have gotten the gas ones.
I own the 023 (older model) and the Farm Boss. No problems. Except with my 021 which I wore out the motor, my Stihl repair man told me “this is an occasional use chain saw and you have used it more than occasionally”
I own a few battery powered lawn tools that I bought last year and the battery runs down so quickly even with extra batteries.
Gas power is so much better, with the power you need.
Yes you all read correctly, Morgana runs a chain saw.
“Morgana runs a chain saw”
She’d love one of those battery powered pruners. Downright feminine!
I am impressed, Morganna. So, the chainsaw does not have to be Pink?
I know some pistols are made in that color nowadays. Not sure about shotguns.

Actually for what he is looking for a battery power saw is perfect. I have a Dewalt 20V that I’ve had for about three years and it’s great for pruning and light yard cleanup after a storm. It’s also very quite and can be used with one hand which is great if you are climbing and need to communicate with someone on the ground.
I also have a Stihl MS-461, MS-271 and MS-170. The 170 is the only one that gives me any issues which kind of stinks because it is nice and light. When it’s cold it always fires up in two or three pulls but if I stop it and try to fire it back up when the engine is hot... no dice and I have to wait for it to cool down again.
