They get to spend money on endless stupid nonsense, instead of letting Ukraine win decisively. Stalemates are money traps, which is why they like them. Ending the war would be simple: Drive down the price of oil by flooding the market. But since they won’t, the war will go on, the endless lavishing of Ukraine with new toys will accelerate, and if there’s a famine in Africa, they can act humane and send in a bunch of UN pedophiles to “help” Africans.
