The First Avenue team and you have worked hard to make our venues the safest spaces in the country... Isn't it ironic with so many people working so hard to create 'safe spaces' in our country...the fewer and fewer there actually are.
I won't depend on someone else to make me and my family safe. That's my job. And a lot more people are coming to this realization.

We believe in diverse voices and the freedom of artistic expression, but in honoring that, we lost sight of the impact this would have. "The impact this would have" is a nice euphemism for "the riot somebody might cause." If threats work, threats will be the new normal.
