FAL is a paramilitary style rifle. Very close to the AR10, is it not? Same caliber.

Same caliber though generally a bit less accurate as issued. On the other hand, a LOT more reliable than the AR-10.
Point is I prefer a full power rifle that can make assailants go away at 800+ instead of an intermediate caliber that has problems at 300-600. :P
