they are a lot cheaper too.
I am not an AR or AK guy, but I know people who are and they want to shoot different stuff depending on their mood, or just what ammo they got cheap.
(In reality, they just load it up and shoot with all of it)

That's alright. Due to their circumstances, many people have no use for them (age, urban apartment, busy life with no time for the range, costs, simply no interest, lack of visibility in any direction,...). But we're all "pro-choice" with respect to firearms. ;)
And the rifles with standard magazines (mostly 30 rounds) are still in "common use"--very important in regards to a Supreme Court opinion.
