In order for her to advance her narrative against President Trump, she will not allow any cross-examination of witnesses. This is just like Stalin’s Russia.

RINO Bret Baier actually asked Liz Cheney about President Trump’s request for 20,000 National Guardsmen and women on January 6th at the US Capitol.
Liz Cheney then openly lied and said former Defense Secretary Chris Miller rejected this claim and said Trump NEVER requested the additional National Guard at a January 4 meeting.
Unfortunately, for Liz, despite the fact that Baier let her get away with this lie, there is actual footage of Chris Miller and Kash Patel, who attended the Jan. 4th meeting, where they both confirm that Trump requested the troops at the January 4th White House meeting.
Liz Cheney got caught again.

And Bret Baier got caught covering for a liar again. He reluctantly asks a marginally uncomfortable question, then quickly lets it slide when it’s unsatisfactorily answered (which in Liz’s case, was an outright lie).
Of course, Bret let her lie without any follow-up. NeverTrump Uber Alles.
Let’s cut to the chase here. There is no way on earth that the National Guard would have been called out. In the eyes of these leftist scum the Guard was an extension of MAGA. The Guard troops would have been able to STOP the staged event. They had to have a weak front at the Capitol building to allow in the few staged agitators. It’s obvious looking at this from 40,000 feet. Cheney is a liar. She is 100% on Team D. She will be defeated in the primary and she will be hired as a Rat Shill for the MSDNC or CNNDNC team.
Actually Cheney didn’t lie directly. She deliberately misled and Bret Baier wasn’t smart enough to pick up on it. She said Trump never “ordered” 20,000 National Guard troops. He didn’t. He “authorized” 20,000 troops to be called if a request came in for them. But no one requested the troops. Not Pelosi, not the Capital Police, not the DC police, not Muriel Bowser, not anyone. And Cheney damn well knows this. If Baier wasn’t so stupid, and blinded by his Trump hatred, he would have asked her why her committee hasn’t called the people who could have requested the 20,000 troops Trump authorized, and ask them why they didn’t request the troops. But of course that didn’t happen since it was a hack journalist interviewing a scumbag politician.

Liz Cheney’s biggest transgression IMHO is not her hatred of Trump but rather her acceptance of the illegitimate construct of the Committee charter, the lack of Trump defenders and the appearance of the Committee as prosecutors seeking an indictment rather than a search for facts supportive of both sides.
