The writer has had lots of sex and not weighed down by the fears of pregnancy. I guess she looked at the calendar a lot and spontaneity didn’t enter into it. I would say there’s lots of women out there who are just sick of us. Fear of getting pregnant or contraception risks are just excuses to not do it.
I often wondered why I never knocked up anyone. Shooting blanks perhaps. Maybe they wanted to make sure they were using some kind of protection because of my shortcomings. I’ll never know.
