I would think that the woke idiots would consider Lincoln a hero since he freed the slaves.

Ezra Cornell, a founder and namesake of the university, was an unabashed capitalist who made his fortune in the telegraph industry. He was also a Republican who was elected to the N Y state legislature, an unforgivable political offense, given how the term “Republican” signifies racist, sexist and homophobe. Moreover, the charter of the university requires that a male descendant of Ezra occupy a position on the governing board, clearly an example of the worst sort of white privilege, to say nothing of patriarchal injustice.
Why this evil institution is allowed to continue its existence under the name “Cornell” boggles the mind.
Never was majority rules. It is a constitutional republic not a French style idiotocracy.
The answer to give the complainer is “You dumb idiot! Lincoln freed the slaves! How stupid can you be? Request denied, and don’t ask again.”

Sad statement of the university by removing his bust and speech. However, if someone did really do their diligent research on Lincoln and uncovered his true statements and actions it would give rise to his removal as a deity.

Although Lincoln is revered by republicans today, democrats and newspapers of the time refered to him repeatedly as both orange and bad
