6 to 1 (length to width) seems proportional for a barge-shaped boat, which would probably handle rough water better than something round, wide open and flat.

300L x 50W x30 H does not equal round.

There is a real Noah’s ark in Kentucky. It’s called the ark encounter. It’s a true to size boat that shows how Noah and his family lived. You can take a tour on YouTube. It’s beautiful and doesn’t look a bit like that.

This argument does not hold water.

Irving Finkel of the British Museum figured out the Ark was round many years ago. Check this out...
Professor Irving Finkel -Noah's ark was round !!
Of course it was round. It didn't have sails or a motor so it didn't need a pointed end to cut through the waves.

It would flood from all the rain and capsize

This is the most absurd idea I have ever heard! What idiot would come up with this? Why not just a bathtub toy duck scaled up so all the animals could have ridden on its back? Some people should never be taken seriously.

That's a whole lot of effort to deny the simple biblical text of the Kataklusmos. "This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high." (Gen. 6:15)

Mystery of Noah’s Ark Solved!...The shape of the ark has been a puzzle for millennia. Until now. Uh oh. Has anyone broken the news to the Ark Encounter management yet?

I like the Zebra running up the stairs. The guy seems to be ignorant of animals.
I could not get into the article after seeing his “scientifically proved shape”.
Chuck Missler, the top graduate in Annapolis in 1956, has a great analysis of the commonly accepted shape of the ark. Are the guys that write articles like this on drugs or something?
