“Our bill doubled this month so I called only to find out we were being charged for calling Canada. Excuse me, we don’t know anyone in Canada so certainly didn’t make any calls to there. Didn’t matter to Verizon because they want their money.”

Something doesn’t add up. If you didn’t make the calls you should be able to call the fraud dept in VZ and get the charges removed.

Verizon did not credit over $400 in payments over time. I dropped them on the contract anniversary date leaving them with about a $140 balance unpaid.

I told it them to take it out of the $400 they owed me and to refund the difference. They told me to take up the $400 issue with my bank and send me the $140. I told them to sue me so I could countersue for the $400 they owed me.

They sold the debt to the collection agency. When they were sent the proof of the uncredited payments of $400, they resold the debt to another agency who told me to sue Verizon but to pay them. I told them to pound sound because if they did, I could countersue without paying the filing fee.
