One of the funniest things to witness in corporate media is when they take themselves so seriously, that they don’t realize just how comical they actually are. The latest episode of “Corporate Media’s Trump Derangement Syndrome in Action” comes from the Los Angeles Times.
In a story titled, Here’s one factor that might peel Trump’s diehard supporters away, they tested out fake news stories purportedly published by either leftist Politico or right-leaning Breitbart. The stories about Trump were manufactured to see how Trump supporters would react to reading propaganda that painted him in a negative light.

Dick Cheney should be in jail. He broke the law, Smith-Mundt act of 1948, when he and Bush used propaganda on the American public about Iraq. The law was ‘adjusted’ in 2013 in a bipartisan stealth move and signed by Obama so they could legally propagandize on our own soil.
The entire Jan. 6 fiasco is to cover the crimes of swamp rats like the Cheney’s, Bush’s, Obama’s and Bidens.

Basically, people tend to be drawn to things that are similar to them, e.g. leftists in cities tend to be friends with leftists in cities, and people tend to trust authority figures, e.g. The left laps up The NY Times.
All this study showed, was conservatives tend to trust Breitbart stories.
Breitbart's website has started becoming a little too sensational, and I've found enough errors or inconsistencies where I have to do my own fact checking. That said, Breitbart is waaaaay better than the reigning dung heaps that are American Thinker and Gateway Pundit.
The bottom line, is just because someone in authority says they are for Trump doesn't mean you should like them OR trust them. Being your own man or woman always wins the day.

Get ready; the MSM and the Dems are going to try to take down America. The last thing they want is an election in November where the Conservatives will gain control. May be a surprise to even have an election in November.

I also don't trust American Thinker or Gateway Pundit at all. They weaponize Affinity Bias, yet their failures at basic due diligence elevates the suspicion that they're leftist fronts designed to make Deplorables look stupid.
Breitbart gets it right more often than not, but not with enough authority where they get a pass.
Indeed, anyone armed with a browser can fact-check in 5 min. It's not hard work, but it it requires a dedication to self-preservation that is lacking in many circles nowadays.
