Complacency kills....Not just in combat, police work or fire fighting.
It kills everything. Why are parents enemies of the state according to school boards and the FBI? Because parents got complacent. They weren’t paying attention to what has been happening all around them.

A lot of parents say they don’t like what’s going on, but they also say “Let someone else take care of it...”
I grew up across the river in Moorhead. Such a shame that sensible Fargo seems to be striving to be like the Twin Cities.

You, me and everyone else on this site live in Anytown, USA. We have our disagreements but at the end of the day, we get along to some degree and no issues.
We have very low crime as we’re all about law and order and we raise our kids right. We have low taxes because we elect and hire the right people to be stewards of our money and we hold them accountable. We have great schools because we hire great teachers, who are held accountable, we pay attention to what is being taught and we teach the 3 R’s, no CRT...none of that. So, basically we all live the life that most want.
One day, a liberal couple drives through the town, they’re tired of the city life, see how wonderful our town is and buy a house. They love the low taxes and safety, but maybe not so much the schools. But they keep their mouths shut. Pretty soon, more and more of these types show up, sneak in, whatever you want to call it.
One day, one of them makes the move. They run for school board, very centrist hiding their true feelings. Folks aren’t paying attention, they get in and then they unleash the Kracken. Taxes start going through the roof. Crime starts increasing. Schools and education go down the sh*tter.
Then more and more of them move in as those that see what’s coming and can move, move. Leaving room for more Leftists and they get more and more radical.
And even the “moderate Democrat”, one of the early ones who really enjoyed the aspects of living there, can’t vote for the Republican’s because they can’t have Republican’s in charge of anything. Republican’s are bad and every ‘ist’ they can think of. They’re like that ‘moderate Dem’ neighbor of yours, that doesn’t own a gun-has no problem with you owning one-but votes for the Democrat that makes gun control a very major part of their platform. They aren’t a ‘moderate Dem’.
Pretty soon, Anytown, USA is destroyed.

At this point, make the entire city so uncomfortable for the liberals that they pack up and leave. As long as no more come to Georgia, that is.
Very true. Many younger types do not want to work. They prefer Govt handouts. I recall making all of $66 a month after taxes in the Army 1966. I finally made $666 a month in RVN as a 1LT with 110 being airborne.

Pretty soon the schools libraries will be filled with filth and the parents will be screaming to high heaven about porn, disguised in a kids book. But, they have only themselves to blame for allowing it.
