Politics aside, the ending of the Dark Tower Series totally turned me on the guy.

Eagle’s Nest is still going strong! How they manage to fit so many people in the place is still beyond me. ;)
The area is very nice, but we’re rapidly being overrun with transplants. Unless things drastically change in Augusta, and the 1st District, it’s only a matter of time before “all is lost” for the Pine Tree State. :(

Have you seen “Austin’s” new ad that runs on WLBZ? It’s sickening. She, and her Stepdaughters recreate a family photo from before her husband passed. All the while, “Austin” narrates with flowery language i.e. rainbows/unicorns about how everything in Maine is amazing under her watch, and all the magic we have to look forward to. Ick!
Lived here permanently since I was 10, been coming here to a family camp during the Summer months since I was 2, and my family has been here for generations. With that said, I guess the “purists” would still refer to me as a “Flatlander”! LOL ;)

“Flatlander”....now that’s a term I’ve not heard since I was a kid. That’s what my dad use to call all those out-of-staters passing thru here on their way to Canada.
But I did see a couple of moronic Massholes the other day while fueling up with diesel. They had just driven across Rte. 9 from Bangor and pulled into the Irving station there at the Calais end of Rte. 9. They pulled in driving a convertible with the top down, they had just driven thru a 100 miles of some of the freshest air in the country......wearing masks!!!! LMAO. Yeah, they’d definitely qualify as “flatlanders” too.
