LOL! Kinda like gators (and bugs) in Florida...in the south they’re part of the playing field...deal with it!
The bugs are all at my place. They don’t like liberals because drinking their blood is a death sentence so they stay away from them. Much like the certain parts of any city you know not to visit.
We have plenty of bugs here, butterflies as well. And, we have chickens that eat their fair share of the bounty.
I got a lot of mosquito bites this year. Up until about three weeks ago as things have been very dry here in Southern Connecticut. Without a lot of rainfall, the mosquito populations are cut down.
My part of New England has been very dry and the decrease in bugs has been noticeable. Fewer bugs this year means fewer bugs next year. On top of that, I believe they are predicting a very cold and unpleasant winter for us. That also means fewer bugs next year.
This summer has been good — and I’m looking forward to next year.
No kidding. Had to get out the pool this evening because of the no-see-ums and skeeters. Had to clear several spiders out before that.
90% of people in India, with 1400+ Million people, are vegetarians. Those who eat meat are lucky to get 1 serving of meat in a week. Yet, the population keeps increasing, people are getting taller, and I saw more fat people there on my last visit than pervious visits.
“According to the MSM, too few bugs is a problem. Too many bugs is a problem. Everything is a problem. And whatever you, don’t just enjoy the Summer”.
Yep, it’s always too many or too few.
Yeah, there were only a few whiteflies early on attacking my tomato plants this summer in the Sacramento area, then there was none.
Mosquitoes sucked the blood of the vaccinated and they all died suddenly...
Ha! Good one.
The experts haven’t looked in my neighborhood. Way more than usual here
I know! If it’s any consolation I was TERRORIZED last night by a Hummingbird Moth. That thing would NOT leave me alone - and it was the size of a 747, LOL!
(It’s the Moth ‘afterlife’ of the Tomato Horn Worm - the bane of all Gardeners!)
You can be fat and be a vegan thanks to junk food.
I see what you did there, LOL. Post #3
SO...why the hell is EVERY newly discovered anomaly a civilization ending catastrophe?
Sheesh! Give it a rest already.
If your assessment springs from your myopic view taken from your own personal sphere of concern, understand...you ain’t all that!
We had plenty of bugs, especially ticks; until our chickens got big enough to free range. Now we are mostly bug free.
Here in TX really wasn’t enjoying the incessant very hot and dry days but the mosquitoes were absent. Last week one little bit of rain and back they came in short order.
Growing up, there were lighting bugs all over the place. Now I rarely see any
In areas with multiple queen colonies, there may be 200 or more mounds and 40 million [fire] ants per acre.

I lived amongst them in Georgia. They rebuild faster than you can kill them.
